Public Works Projects
The Public Works Department is a multifaceted and diverse organization within the city's overall structure. The department handles multiple services provided to the citizens of Panama City and manages multiple capital and maintenance projects. Public Works provides services in the critical areas of cross-connection control, environmental services (solid waste), fats, oils and grease, street maintenance and more.
Administrative Offices
The administrative offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The phone number is 850-691-4553. All maintenance divisions of Public Works are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After 5:00 p.m., weekends and holidays, or for emergencies call the police dispatcher at 850-872-3112.
