Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee

The City of Panama City’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee was created to provide focused advice and community‑driven recommendations to the Panama City Commission about the city’s parks and recreational spaces. Its purpose is not to manage parks directly, but to advise elected officials on priorities, improvements and strategic decisions related to the city’s park system.

To gather community input regarding parks under consideration for potential consolidation, the Committee will host a series of Town Halls throughout January 2026. Citizens are encouraged to participate and share feedback for consideration regarding their wards and all parks in the city.
