The Development Services Department is expanding with the addition of new staff members and the creation of a Building Services Division. This allows for all sectors of Development Services to be performed in-house, streamlining the processes and increasing efficiency. All permitting will now be done through the City.
In an effort to increase customer service and visibility, we are implementing digital services to allow for higher efficiency and quicker processing, an online payment option (all paid) and the ability to pay via cred card as well as centralized planning and zoning, fire, environmental, and code compliance with building.

Through the client portal, applicants can retrieve digital status updates, ensuring transparency throughout the entire process. Information regarding where active and ongoing development and code compliance concerns are taking place can be accessed via the software map. Concerns can also be submitted to code compliance with ease.
