Parks Progress is a monthly video series highlighting updates and developments across Panama City’s parks and recreational facilities. These videos will keep residents informed about ongoing projects, improvements, and enhancements that support community recreation and quality of life.
Exciting improvements are underway across our community spaces to enhance recreation, accessibility, and overall quality of life for residents. The Garden Club is nearing reopening for public rentals, offering a fully upgraded facility with a 150-person capacity, modern kitchen and restrooms, and a bridal suite, alongside new outdoor fitness equipment near the walking track to encourage active lifestyles. At Millville Waterfront Park, thanks to the CRA, construction on new public restrooms is progressing, promising greater convenience for visitors later this spring. Meanwhile, Daffin Park will soon feature upgraded ballfield lighting on the multipurpose football and soccer field, extending evening use for games, practices, and community events, along with additional improvements to enrich the park experience for all. These projects reflect a continued commitment to investing in our parks and public spaces for the benefit of the entire community.
