Municipal Run-Off Election set for Tuesday, May 16

A Municipal Run-Off Election will be held on May 16, 2023. The position of Mayor-Commissioner at Large will be on the ballot.

  • Early Voting will take place on Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall, which is located at 501 Harrison Avenue.
  • The Run-Off Election is Tuesday, May 16. Polls will be ward specific and open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ward 1 - City Hall, 501 Harrison Avenue

Ward 2 - A. D. Harris Learning Village, 819 E. 11th Street

Ward 3 - Messiah Lutheran Church, 3701 W. Hwy 390

Ward 4 - Frank Nelson Building, 4201 W. 22nd Street

City elections for the position of Mayor-Commissioner at Large and two of the City's four Commissioners are held during odd-numbered years. The Mayor is elected for a two year term of office. Commissioners are elected for a four year term of office. City elections are nonpartisan.

The next election for the Panama City Mayor-Commissioner at Large and Commissioners for Wards 2 and 3 is April 18, 2023.

  • Early Voting will take place on Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall, which is located at 501 Harrison Avenue. The majority of parking is located behind City Hall along Grace Avenue.
  • Election Day is Tuesday, April 18. Polls will be ward specific and open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ward 2 - A. D. Harris Learning Village, 819 E. 11th Street

Ward 3 - Messiah Lutheran Church, 3701 W. Hwy 390

Ward 4 - Frank Nelson Building, 4201 W. 22nd Street

The wards map may be viewed in this link. On December 13, 2022, the City Commission of the City of Panama City adopted Ordinance 3134, which redistricts the city's four commission wards, so your ward may be different.

  • *All Vote By Mail Requests have expired. If you have not requested a Vote By Mail ballot in 2023, you must renew your request.
